Description
This course will give drivers an overview of where to find the information they need in the TDG Clear Language Regulations, and provide guidelines for applying the Regulations.

Objectives
After completing this course the student will be able to:
- Identify the possible hazards for each class of dangerous goods
- Locate information from Schedules 1, 2 and 3 for a given dangerous good
- Identify where the shipping document should be located
- Determine the accuracy of a given shipping document
- Identify the standard types of means of containment
- Determine which dangerous goods are compatible
- Determine which safety marks are required for a given dangerous good
- Identify safe handling and loading procedures
- Identify safe driving procedures
- Determine when to report an accidental release of dangerous goods
- Find information in the Emergency Response Guidebook for a given dangerous good
